Duties and Responsibilities:
• Provide vision and direction for noncredit workforce training programs aligned with regional labor market demands and LDCC workforce priorities.
• Oversee adult education programs, including High School Equivalency (HiSET), literacy instruction, integrated education and training (IET), and transition services.
• Lead development, implementation, and evaluation of sponsored programs related to workforce and adult education (e.g., Perkins, WIOA, and others).
• Ensure full compliance with grant regulations, reporting requirements, and performance benchmarks.
• Supervise workforce and adult education staff, including program coordinators, instructors, and administrative personnel.
• Foster partnerships with employers, workforce development boards, community organizations, and K–12 systems.
• Coordinate closely with institutional leadership to align workforce and adult education efforts with strategic priorities.
• Prepare and present data-driven reports, proposals, and impact statements to internal and external stakeholders.
• Serve as the college's representative on workforce and adult education consortia, councils, and advisory boards.
Required Education:
• Master’s degree in education, workforce development, public administration, or a related field (required).
• Minimum of five years of progressively responsible leadership experience in adult education, workforce training, or grant-funded programs.
• Demonstrated success managing grants and working with public funding streams (Perkins, WIOA, etc.).
• Knowledge of Louisiana workforce systems, LCTCS structure, and WIOA/Perkins regulatory frameworks preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, and data analysis skills.
