Nursing faculty are responsible for teaching courses as assigned, student advising, college service, professional development and promotion of collegial atmosphere. Faculty are expected to support the institution’s mission and vision and abide by the Faculty Handbook and college-wide policies. This position will monitor students in the clinical areas, teach theory in classroom, and demonstrate clinical skills in the simulation laboratory. The Flood Mitigation Program Coordinator and Instructor is responsible for the oversight, coordination, and delivery of a specialized workforce training program focused on teaching students how to elevate existing structures to mitigate flood damage. This role will begin as a co-instructor as part of a train-the-trainer model, eventually transitioning into the primary instructor and full program manager. The Coordinator will ensure program alignment with industry standards, safety regulations, and instructional best practices.
