Starting Pay: $109,034.12 - $160,799.86 (compensation commensurate with experience)

Notes: This requisition will remain open until filled; however, first consideration will be given to those applicants that apply within the first 14 days. This position is designated as management position and is covered by the Trial Court Personnel Policies and Procedures Manual. This position is based in Boston and will require travel into Boston regularly. 

Position Summary: The Senior Manager for Hyland OnBase Solutions will provide day to day application administration and maintenance of the Hyland OnBase System for the seven departments of the Massachusetts Trial Court. The Senior Manager for Hyland will both maintain existing OnBase solutions and continually refine the ability to recognize when and how the solutions should evolve to meet the needs of growing and changing business. The Senior Manager for Hyland OnBase Solutions will also serve as the principal point of contact for all systems that interact with or support the OnBase solution. Knowledge of Trial Court business processes, policies along with experience working within a Trial Court department is highly desired. The successful candidate will either already be a Hyland OnBase Administrator Professional and Hyland OnBase Workflow Administrator Professional certified, or willing to become certified.

Supervision Received: Work is performed under the general direction of the DCIO for eCourts.

Duties:

• Serve as the principal customer and vendor point of contact for all hardware, database software and application software that interacts with or supports the Enterprise Records Management (Hyland OnBase) program. 
• Maintain and support the operation of the OnBase solution
• Provide upgrade support to the environment and clients
• Facilitate changes to the application utilizing OnBase Configuration
• Assist with testing and migration of OnBase changes on development, SIT, UAT and Prod environments
• Develop and/or assist with the development of appropriate test strategies, and related documentation
• Assist in the creation of test plans and perform functional, regression, and integration
• Document defects and review, evaluate, prioritize, and resolve OnBase software issues
• Work with Hyland Software for technical support as needed
• Provide OnBase and OnBase custom integration technical support
• Provide documentation to customer of changes to OnBase Workflow configurations
• Assist with discovery and documentation of business requirements for OnBase solutions
• Validate technical specifications and infrastructure requirements
• Assist with end user training
• Respond to questions concerning product capabilities
• Plan future growth of the OnBase solutions within client business
• Ability to travel to court locations throughout the state; and
• Performs other related duties as required.

Minimum Requirements: These are the minimum requirements necessary to apply for the position of Senior Manager for Hyland OnBase Solutions:

A Bachelor’s degree and (6) six years of fulltime, professional experience in supporting business operations, the major duties of which included at least two or more of the following functions: court case management and operations, information technology, product ownership, product management, or product development; or an equivalent combination of the required education and experience.

Knowledge and understanding of Trial Court operations and Trial Court business processes.

Knowledge and understanding of court case management systems, electronic case initiation, electronic filing of documents, and electronic case transaction processing;

Familiarity with the MassCourts case management system;

Understanding of the information management needs of judges, clerks of court, court administrators/managers;

Demonstrated ability to translate technical concepts to non-technical users;

Preferred Qualifications:

Knowledge of departmental court processes and document management procedures;
