Summary of Position: The position of Accounts Payable Specialist will ensure accurate and timely payment of university obligations. The Accounts Payable Specialist will also provide support to university departments regarding purchasing functions.
Duties and Responsibilities
Process invoices and vouchers for payment, which may include processing web payments, checks and/or ACH transactions
Research questions on invoices/statements and work with vendors/departments to address any issues
Process student refunds
Manage the purchase order receiving process as well as process any purchase order requests
Update vendor files (name and address changes) in compliance with IWU Data Integrity Standards
Assist with P Card administration processesl)
Assist with any document imaging processes
Other duties as assigned

Education
Associate degree preferred
Experience
Minimum of three to five (3-5) years of AP/Purchasing experience or related field
