Summary of Position: This position leads a team of recruiters with the responsibility to meet or exceed established new student enrollment goals. The primary focus is to train and develop a team to cultivate leads and convert them into students while representing the values of the institution and serving the needs of the student.
Duties and Responsibilities
Team and Culture
Works with the Director of Admissions to develop a high-performance team and culture that models the posture and values of Wesley Seminary
Encourages creativity, strategic thinking, planning, execution, and leadership development across the admissions team
Encourages a loyal, honest, trustworthy, and hard-working atmosphere
Implement a system of accountability that assists admissions counselor in making progress towards enrollment goals on a weekly basis
Admissions Strategies
In collaboration with the Director of Admissions, implements the recruitment plan that aligns WS and program goals, lead generation tactics, and recruitment operations
Admissions Operations
Oversees the recruitment process for WS programs, including related communications, contact strategies
Monitors and adjusts lead queues to effectively impact admissions outcomes
Assists the Director of Admissions with conference/event sponsorship, attendance, travel arrangements, and team member assignment
Performance Tracking
Leads a data-informed performance system to track progress toward goals and adjust recruitment strategies
Gives leadership to forecasting enrollment trends
Leads on the design and tracking of enrollment key performance indicators (KPIs) to include metrics which assess enrollment counselor and funnel performance
Monitors outcomes and KPIs on a consistent basis
Evaluates and reports on the performance of the admission team on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis
Technology
Oversees the team and strategy for admission/enrollment technologies, with specific attention to Salesforce and the associated tools and processes
Ensures the development and advancement of a comprehensive technology platform to provide an efficient and scalable admission/enrollment infrastructure
Training & Development
Collaborates directly with training staff to design, enhance, and evaluate initial and ongoing training and development for the admissions staff
Player/Coach
Sees self as both a player on the admissions team doing enrollment/admissions and over-seeing enrollment/admissions o Carries a recruitment load of 25% of a full-time recruiter

Education
Bachelor’s Degree Required
Master’s Preferred
Experience
Minimum of five (5) years of management experience preferred
Minimum of five (5) years of enrollment-related experience preferred
