Summary of Position: Assists with communication and organization of programming for Youth Ministry Events. This includes Fusion, Never2Young, and Summer Ministry Teams.
Duties and Responsibilities
Maintains an updated record of partner churches, youth pastors, and ministry networks
Provides support for executing the communication strategy for Youth Ministry Events; including developing promotional materials and marketing through direct contacts, social media, and email
Supports student leaders by providing resources, training opportunities, and ministry opportunities
Collects financial documentation related to Summer Ministry Teams and Examen
Qualifications: According to Indiana Wesleyan University employment policy all employees must possess a strong Christian commitment and adhere to the standards outlined in the IWU Community Lifestyle Statement.
Education
Bachelor's in ministry, Youth Ministry major preferred
Experience
One to two (1-2) years in youth ministry and/or event planning preferred
Required Skills
Presents themselves in a friendly and helpful manner to students, faculty, and guests
Performs administrative duties efficiently and with precision
Collaborates well with both adults and students
