The Director of People & Culture Development designs, delivers, and measures high-impact professional and talent development programs that strengthen leadership capability, elevate employee engagement, and advance a Christ-centered organizational culture. This role authors curricula for online and in-person learning, manages internal and external subject matter experts (SMEs), leads facilitation, and uses pre/post assessments and analytics to drive continuous improvement. The Director partners across varies departments and academic/administrative units to align initiatives with institutional mission, values, and strategic goals.
This position reports to the Associate Vice President of People & Culture.

The DeVoe School of Business, Technology and Leadership (DBTL) serves approximately 5000 students and is housed in the College of Adult and Professional Studies (CAPS), serving over 11,000 students. DeVoe is a key academic partner to the university’s International Student Program (ISP). The College has a long, vibrant history of providing adult learners with associate, bachelor’s, and graduate degrees. The successful candidate will need to deeply embrace and articulate a philosophy that is consistent with adult education and innovation.
The Dean will have a demonstrated ability to inspire, unite, galvanize, and mobilize diverse stakeholders around a shared vision while fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, accountability, and Christian service.

The admissions counselor position promotes the University and its programs to prospective students and their communities. The admissions counselor manages a caseload of students to identify, recruit, admit and matriculate successfully into the University, its programs and community. The goal is accomplished through building relationships with the student and their family, sharing opportunities available to the student at IWU and encouraging them on their next steps. Engagement varies by season but includes travel, hospitality during campus visits and extensive communication with families (including phone calls).
