Assistant Professor, Department of Earth System Science Stanford University Pacific Daylight Time
The Stanford Doerr School of Sustainability invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position in the Department of Earth System Science, with the potential for a joint appointment as a Center Fellow in an institute in the School Doerr School. Earth System Science is the study of the world’s air, water, land, and life as an integrated system. Our department is focused on uniting basic and purpose-driven research to understand how the Earth functions, the many ways it is changing, and the consequences for people and other species. We are interested in candidates who can contribute to the department’s strategic research and teaching priorities. Areas of interest include, but are not limited to, hydrologic science, global ecology, biodiversity, climate adaptation, human & planetary health, and sustainable food systems. We also welcome applicants who are advancing approaches to environmental data science, systems science, and/or Indigenous environmental (or ecological) traditional knowledge. All interested candidates in any area of Earth System Science are strongly encouraged to apply.

The Department of Radiology at Stanford School of Medicine is searching for a Division Chief of Integrative Biomedical Imaging Informatics at Stanford (IBIIS). This full-time appointment will be in the University Tenure Line or Non-Tenure Line (Research) at the Associate or Full Professor rank. The predominant criterion for appointment in the University Tenure Line is a major commitment to research and teaching. Open Faculty Positions Focused on Artificial Intelligence Approaches to Radiological Imaging Stanford University
The Department of Radiology at Stanford School of Medicine is recruiting a full-time faculty member at the level of Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor to join the Integrative Biomedical Imaging Informatics at Stanford (IBIIS) Division. IBIIS faculty focus on pioneering, translating, teaching and disseminating methods in data science that integrate imaging, clinical, and -omics data to better understand the molecular mechanisms of diseases and to improve the accuracy and efficiency of clinical care. Recognizing that Artificial Intelligence (AI) techniques, which are likely to be a major focus of this effort, require large sets of integrated imaging, clinical, and outcomes data, the Stanford University School of Medicine has developed and made available a research data warehouse, which includes clinical images and linked data from the electronic medical record, to enable discovery of new relationships between imaging findings and clinical, histological, and genomic manifestations of health and disease.
Medical Director, Single Ventricle Program Stanford University
The Division of Cardiology in the Department of Pediatrics at Stanford University School of Medicine/Stanford Medicine Children’s Health is recruiting a Clinician Educator as a Clinical Assistant Professor, Clinical Associate Professor, or Clinical Professor. We are specifically interested in candidates with expertise in pediatric heart failure and heart transplantation, as well as the longitudinal care of patients with univentricular hearts. The successful candidate will join the Pediatric Advanced Cardiac Therapies team and serve as the Medical Director of the Single Ventricle Program, with outpatient and consultative clinical responsibilities.

Candidates should have an MD or MD/PhD degree(s) or equivalent, must be board-certified in diagnostic radiology or equivalent training, have completed a formal fellowship in body or abdominal imaging or a related sub-specialty, and, if applicable, have shown an outstanding track record of research productivity. Research can include all aspects of body imaging, including clinical, translational, or basic science, as well as computational science and artificial intelligence.

Exceptional leadership and administrative skills are also required. The applicant must have an M.D. or M.D./Ph.D. degree(s) or equivalent, be board-certified in diagnostic radiology, and have completed a formal fellowship in interventional radiology or equivalent training.
