Why ISO and Why You?

At Ishida, we operate under three core ISO standards:

  • ISO 9001 – Quality Management
  • ISO 14001 – Environmental Management
  • ISO 45001 – Occupational Health & Safety

These standards support our ethos of Three-Way Harmony and focus on customer satisfaction, legal compliance, risk management, and continuous improvement. By getting involved in auditing, you play a direct role in helping us maintain and improve these standards.

What’s Involved?

We’re looking for Managers and Team Leaders or those with a keen interest from all departments who can commit to carrying out around 5/6 audits per year.

Each audit takes approximately half a day, broken into:

  • 30 mins planning and arranging
  • 1 hour preparing
  • 1 hour conducting the audit
  • 1 hour writing the report
  • You’ll also attend a monthly audit team meeting and receive full training, so no prior experience is needed.

Benefits of being an Auditor

  • Build a deeper understanding of the business
  • Connect with colleagues across departments
  • Improve your communication, planning, and problem-solving skills
  • Gain experience in compliance and continuous improvement practices
  • Make a meaningful contribution to Ishida’s excellence and sustainability goals

Who We’re Looking For

  • Strong attention to detail
  • A good listener and communicator
  • Professional, impartial and open-minded
  • Organised and committed to follow-through
  • Friendly, approachable, and flexible

Our Goal

We aim to carry out at least 72 audits in 2025/26 and grow to 90 audits in 2026/27. Your contribution will help drive compliance, continuous improvement, and operational excellence across the business.

This is an internal development role, to be carried out alongside your existing position and it’s a great chance to build your knowledge, develop new skills, and gain a broader understanding of the business.

Applications should be submitted by the close of 14 July 2025
