Job Title: Highways Electrician
Base Location: Slinfold
Salary: Up to £28,531 plus a range of other benefits to support your family, finances and well-being.
Working Pattern: Contingent Worker | Full Time
What will I be doing in this role?
We’re looking for a Highways Electrician to join the West Sussex Highways Electrical team.
High level overview of the role
- Planned and Responsive streetlighting maintenance.
- Diagnosing and replacing failed electrical components.
- Ensuring all works are carried out under the appropriate Safe System of Work and in a timely manner.
- Actively fault finding / problem solving
- Undertaking electrical installation activities
- Testing and inspecting electrical installations
- Other tasks as required by the Site.
- Responsible for ensuring H&S standards are achieved across the contract.
What do I need to be successful in the role?
- Appropriate technical qualification
- Experience of electrical maintenance activities, and installation and testing.
- Knowledge and experience of Electrical Systems and Electricity at work Regulations.
- Capable of working at heights.
- Ability to work alone and use initiative.
