Job Title: Electrician
Base Location: HMNB Plymouth - Free parking and regular shuttle bus to the site for all employees
Salary: £31,389 per year + all PPE required + a range of benefits to support your family, finances and wellbeing.
Working Pattern: Permanent | Full Time | Monday- Friday 7.30am - 3.30pm
37 Hours a week- Overtime available for those who want it.
What will I be doing in this role?

Enerveo, a leading name in electrical infrastructure solutions, are looking for skilled Electricians to join our dynamic team.
As an Electrician with us, your role will be hands on, and varied each day but you can expect to be carrying out tasks such as;
- Carry out electrical installation works across HMNB Devonport including work in subways, roads, buildings, and industrial units
- carry EICR's, reporting back on urgent defects and providing idea's around how remedial actions can be completed efficiently and effectively.
- Executing electrical distribution works with precision and attention to detail.
- Engaging in containment, ensuring safety and compliance with industry standards.
- Conducting tag and trace surveying to identify and rectify electrical issues.
- Performing comprehensive testing of electrical systems and equipment.
- Managing CDM (Construction Design and Management) responsibilities effectively.
- Collaborating with project teams to ensure efficient and effective project delivery.
- Maintaining high standards of workmanship and adhere to relevant health and safety regulations.

What do I need to be successful in the role?
Our Electricians come from a range of backgrounds and we would love to see the below on your CV;
- Completion of a recognised Electrical Apprenticeship or equivalent vocational training
- A technical certificate, such as the City & Guilds 2365 Diploma in Electrical Installations or an equivalent, to gain theoretical knowledge related to electrical installations.
- You have successfully passed the AM2 (Achievement Measurement 2) assessment.
- You hold a valid ECS card, if this is a Gold card – even better
- You have knowledge and certification in the latest edition of the IET Wiring Regulations (BS 7671)
- If you hold certifications in confined space working, and working at height this would be a benefit, but if not we can offer you this training at no additional cost to you.
- You’re someone who wants to work in a well established, large company with a long history of developing electricians into senior management roles

- If you hold the City & Guilds 2391 Inspection and Testing or equivalent certification, you can join us as an Approved Electrician
