Job Title: Storeperson
Base Location: Piddlehinton, Dorset (Near Dorchester)
Salary: Up to £34,000 depending on skills and experience and working knowledge.
Working Pattern: Full Time, Monday – Friday, 7.30am-3.30pm.

Could you be our next Resource controller to join the team and drive this success forwards?
What will I be doing in this role?
As part of this role your responsibilities will be to oversee the successful running of the Dorset PFI resource areas which includes the overall stock/building compliance and health & Safety requirements.
In a typical day, you could expect to;
- Undertake stock control which would include manual handling and accounting.
- Ensure appropriate arrangements are in place to maximise stock availability to meet contractual/customer demands.
- Deal with external suppliers to ensure stock items are at the correct price and delivered at the correct time.
- Manage and control transport serving/maintenance booking ensuring all vehicle operational needs are met.
- Manage building maintenance and control serving programme.
What do I need to be successful in the role?
- Experience in the end-to-end delivery of material management, with knowledge of the supply chain and procurement processes required.
- Knowledge of relevant health and safety legislation, guidance and good practise.
- Experience/ability to control an asset logging system.
- Forklift license and operating experience.
- As an important team member, help to ensure we deliver an outstanding service to our clients and the general public.
Some of our ‘nice to haves’ are;
- Experience in building management.
- Knowledge in using general accounting software for raising orders.
