Job Title: PFI Handback Manager

Base Location: Field Based

Salary: Up to £74,000 depending on skills and experience, annual bonus and car allowance plus a range of other benefits to support your family, finances and wellbeing. 

Working Pattern: Full Time, 37 Hours, Permanent

Could you be our next PFI Handback Manager to join the team and drive this success forwards?

What will I be doing in this role? 

Enerveo is seeking an experienced Quality Assurance professional to ensure full compliance with our Highways Electrical PFI contracts. The focus of this role is the effective management, application, and execution of Performance Standards and Assurance Programs. You will provide guidance to Operations Managers, Regional Commercial Managers, and Directors while leading on the planning and delivery of internal Quality Assurance activities. This role offers autonomy to drive best practices, align strategic goals, and deliver comprehensive QA program outcomes that support successful business completion.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Perform Quality Assurance (QA) projects and consulting engagements in line with established methodologies and within budgeted timeframes.
  • Plan and deliver PFI Contract Assurance tasks and key risk-focused activities, including leading audits, problem-solving initiatives, and training workshops.
  • Support the business in developing solutions to ongoing issues and ensuring services meet internal and external quality standards.
  • Conduct QA activities, such as interviews, root cause analysis, evidence review, and process documentation, to identify areas for improvement.
  • Evaluate current QA and quality control processes, proposing changes and improvements to enhance effectiveness.
  • Conduct audits of processes, procedures, and systems to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Report on quality metrics and performance indicators by analysing data, identifying trends, and providing actionable recommendations for improvement.
  • Prepare, quality assure, or review reports to deliver clear and constructive recommendations to address risks and opportunities.

What do I need to be successful in the role?

We are looking for you to join us with senior level experience in leading PFI projects, ideally in the Highways Electrical sector. We would also love to see the following on your CV;

  • Senior-level experience leading PFI projects and driving business change.
  • Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, audit techniques, and risk management.
  • Skilled in process mapping, solution development, and procedural writing.
  • Proven ability to perform QA reviews, including risk, impact, and control assessments.
  • Effective communicator with excellent stakeholder engagement and influencing skills.
  • Analytical thinker with strong problem-solving capabilities and a continuous improvement mindset.
  • Experienced in fast-paced, matrix-driven environments with strong IT proficiency (Office 365).
  • Flexible, organised, and able to manage multiple projects while delivering results.
  • Full UK Driving Licence and willing to travel across the UK as needed (25%)

Some of our ‘nice to haves’ are;

  • Six Sigma or equivalent quality and efficacy improvement methodologies preferable but not essential.
  • Asset Data management experience / Asset Data Management Qualifications
