Job Title: Team Manager /Site Supervisor 

Base Location: Fareham -  to cover Hampshire

Salary: From £39,279 - £51,875 depending on skills and experience, plus a range of other benefits to support your family, finances and wellbeing. 

Working Pattern: Full Time, Monday – Friday. Hours are typically 07:30am - 15:30pm but flexibility will be required due to the nature of this project.

Enerveo have an extensive street lighting business that manages over 1 million street lights across the UK and Ireland and through design, project management, consultancy, installation, and maintenance we play a major role in reducing energy consumption and carbon footprints helping towns and cities become smarter, greener and more efficient which benefits us all.

Could you be our next Team Manger/ Site Supervisor to join the team and drive this success forwards?

What will I be doing in this role? 

In this role, you’ll take charge of on-site operations for our LED lantern replacement programme across Southampton and Hampshire. You’ll be responsible for supervising field teams, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and to high quality standards, while keeping projects on track and supporting a positive on-site culture.

This 1 Year  programme is being delivered as part of our long-standing PFI (Private Finance Initiative) contracts, partnerships with local authorities that ensure the ongoing maintenance and improvement of the region’s street lighting network.

The LED lantern replacement scheme will see thousands of traditional street lights, upgraded to energy-efficient LED technology. The result? Reduced energy use, lower maintenance costs, and brighter, more reliable lighting for road users and pedestrians, helping create safer, more sustainable streets for everyone.

In a typical day, you’ll:

  • Promote and maintain high safety standards on site.

  • Support the Senior Project Manager in planning daily activities.

  • Brief teams, monitor progress, and ensure quality delivery.

  • Provide regular updates to Project Managers and stakeholders.

  • Oversee smooth day-to-day site operations.

  • Spot and address potential issues before they escalate.

  • Help track and maintain accurate cost records.

What do I need to be successful in the role?

  • Proven experience leading or supervising an operational or field based team, keeping people motivated and projects on track.

  • Confident using tools like Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Teams, and other relevant software.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues, clients, and stakeholders.

  • A calm, proactive approach under pressure, able to make quick, effective decisions to keep projects moving.

  • A full UK driving licence, as you’ll be visiting multiple sites.

  • Experience in the highways electrical sector is a bonus, or a good understanding of working safely and efficiently in live highway environments.

Some of our ‘nice to haves’ are;

  • It would be a benefit if you have a good knowledge of the 18th Edition
  • 302.1 Installing, maintaining and removing traffic management on rural and urban roads training

We can however support the right candidate to achieve any level of industry training/qualifications they may not have in the ‘nice to have’ list
