Job Title: Project Manager 

Base Location: Slinfold, West Sussex

Salary: From £39,279 - £51,875 depending on skills and experience, plus a range of other benefits to support your family, finances and wellbeing. 

Working Pattern: Full Time, Monday – Friday. Hours are typically 07:30am - 15:30pm but flexibility will be required due to the nature of this project.

Could you be our next Team Manger/ Project Manager to join the team and drive this success forwards?

What will I be doing in this role? 

In this role you will be responsible for overseeing the operational execution and supervision of the LED lantern replacement scheme which will be completed as part of a 12 Month programme as part of the Hampshire and Southampton PFIs.  

In a typical day, you could expect to be;

  • Ensure that our high safety standards are met on site, ensuring safe working practices are followed
  • Assisting Project Managers with planning work activities
  • Monitoring the progress of works and performance on site
  • Providing regular updates for the Project Managers and key stakeholders
  • Ensure the smooth day to day operations of work activities on site
  • Identify any potential problems at the sites and work to prevent them
  • Work with the Project Manager to ensure accurate records of costs are maintained

What do I need to be successful in the role?

  • Previous experience supervising or managing a Team 
  • Working knowledge of software tools such as Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Teams and other relevant applications 
  • Exceptional Communication skills is required
  • Excellent customer relationship and interpersonal skills 
  • Ability to work under pressure and make hard decisions required to achieve project objectives 
  • This role requires driving to various sites, so a full driving licence is required.
  • Experience working in the Highway Electrical Sector would be advantageous or an understanding of projects that are impacted by working on the Highways.  

Some of our ‘nice to haves’ are;

  • It would be a benefit if you have a good knowledge of the 18th Edition
  • 302.1 Installing, maintaining and removing traffic management on rural and urban roads training

We can however support the right candidate to achieve any level of industry training/qualifications they may not have in the ‘nice to have’ list
