SHE Advisor (Temporary – Contingent Worker)
Location: 2 x positions - 1 Covering the South West of England and 1 in Slough
Rate: Equivalent to £53,447 per annum
Working Pattern: Full-time
Employment Type: Temporary – via our preferred recruitment agency supplier

We’re currently looking for a SHE Advisor to join our team on a temporary basis and help ensure the highest standards of health, safety, and environmental performance across our sites in the North of England.
📢 Please note: This is a temporary contingent role. The successful candidate will be employed via our preferred recruitment agency partner.
What you’ll be doing:

Monitoring and reporting on SHE performance at regional and depot levels

Supporting the development and implementation of improvement actions and initiatives

Assisting with environmental compliance and responsibilities

Investigating accidents, incidents and near misses, and sharing lessons learned
-
Reviewing key documentation (e.g. RAMS, CPPs) for safety content
-
Conducting site visits and advising on day-to-day health and safety matters
-
Ensuring compliance with UK legislation, CDM regulations, and client standards

Promoting best practice and delivering toolbox talks and wellbeing campaigns
What we’re looking for:
-
A passion for health, safety, and environmental best practice
-
Strong experience working in an operational SHE role
-
Confidence to challenge poor behaviours and champion a safe working culture

Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
-
A background in Construction, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or DNO
-
Tech-savvy, with solid experience using MS Teams, Excel and SHE databases
-
Professional, self-organised, and driven to make a positive impact
