Team Leader - Supported Accommodation - Karawara (next to Bentley)

Rocky Bay is seeking an experienced Team Leader to join our Supported Accommodation team in Karawara!

We're looking for someone who not only brings strong leadership experience but also aligns with our values and will thrive within our supportive, team-oriented culture.  

About the role:

  • Lead and inspire a diverse team, promoting high performance, strong customer relations and a positive culture.  
  • Apply your experience in disability supported accommodation to support individuals and their families/carers with compassion and professionalism
  • Promote an inclusive team culture through excellent interpersonal skills and open communication
  • Engage confidently with individuals all levels of the organisation in a respectful, professional and approachable manner
  • Possess a solid understanding of NDIS Funding and the NDIS Quality and Safeguarding framework, while demonstrating an inclusive approach that recognises the importance of choice and control for individuals
  • Promote Active Support Principles, empowering customers to develop their independence and make informed choices in their homes
  • Take responsibility for administrative and compliance duties, including accurate reporting and effective operational management
  • Build and maintain strong and trusting relationships with team members, customers, families and stakeholders
  • Demonstrate practical expertise in direct support by helping individuals sustain their health and independence while living at home

What we're looking for:

  • Demonstrated leadership experience within the disability/community services sector
  • Strong understanding of NDIS and person-centred care
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Passion for empowering others and helping reach their full potential
  • Commitment to building inclusive and supportive team environments
