About the role

As a casual Youth Worker, you’ll provide trauma-informed care and support to children and young people in our Out of Home Care program. Your role is to help them heal, grow, and build a brighter future - and no two days are ever the same!

Duties

• Provide day-to-day care and support for children and young people
• Help with personal care, education, social activities, and independent living skills.
• Create a safe, stable, and nurturing home environment.
• Offer trauma-informed and positive behavior support when challenges arise

Skills and experience

• No prior experience required
• Certificate IV in Child, Youth and Family Intervention. No qualification, no problem! Must just have a commitment/willingness to obtain one which we can assist with.
• A Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain one).
• An NDIS Workers Screening Check
• A National Police Check (we’ll complete this for successful applicants).
• A valid open driver’s license.
