Casual Disability Support Worker – Broken Hill

Location: Broken Hill, NSW
Employment Type: Casual (approx. 33 hours/week for the 5–6 weeks, with ongoing casual/on-call shifts after this period.
Roster: 6-day week, including short shifts (2+ hours), on-call availability

Lifestyle Solutions is seeking a compassionate and reliable Disability Support Worker to provide person-centred care to two individuals living independently in Broken Hill. This is a casual role with guaranteed hours during the initial period and potential for ongoing work.

About the Role

You’ll be supporting two individuals with varying needs across two nearby homes (just 4–5 streets apart). Your responsibilities will include:

• Personal care and clinical support, including:
• Catheter care and appointment coordination
• Support with hospital and medical visits
• Pressure area and bowel care (as required)
• Meal preparation in the afternoons
• Transport and accompaniment to emergency services and medical appointments

What We’re Looking For

You’ll bring:

• Experience in personal care and clinical support (aged care, nursing, disability or similar)
• NDIS Worker Clearance & National Police Check
• Valid full driver’s licence and working rights in Australia
• First Aid certification
• Availability for short shifts and on-call work
