About the Role
The main purpose of this position is to assist the Disability Operational teams with financial and general administrative tasks to ensure data is collected and maintained accurately and compliant to policies and reporting requirements. This will involve completing financial assessments for new intake enquiries (budgeting and quoting of services), initiating and maintaining contractual arrangements with clients and/or guardians and regular checks to ensure claiming aligns with service delivery.
Key accountabilities will include reporting (strict adherence to NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission requirements) and billing and administration (monitoring of NDIS plans, claims and billing).
By achieving the objectives outlined above, you will significantly impact the provision of appropriate support within each participant’s budget, thereby ensuring that we deliver exceptional outcomes to the individuals we support.
About You
Essential qualifications and experience include:
- Relevant qualification or equivalent experience in administration/business management
- Highly developed ICT literacy and competency in all MS Office products
- Proven experience in the use of Excel, including formula development, pivot tables and reporting functions
- Ability to work through complex billing structures to identify areas to approve or resolve issues and inform process improvements
- Ability to compare data across multiple platforms
- Well-developed interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills – including negotiation, consulting and mediation skills.
- Demonstrated ability to set priorities, demonstrate effective time management skills and meet deadlines, be self-motivated, demonstrate initiative and multi-task in a busy office environment.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver effective service within defined budgetary constraints.
