What you could be doing 🫶

As a Disability Support Worker, you'll empower people with disability to live independently and achieve their goals by:

• Supporting daily living skills including cooking, domestic tasks and developing independence
• Providing personal care including showering, dressing, toileting and feeding
• Encouraging community participation, hobbies and social connections
• Administering medication and following individual support plans
• Completing accurate documentation, progress notes and incident reports
• Supporting customers both at home and in the community
• Utilising diabetes management and PEG feeding skills where required (training desirable)

Upcoming shift opportunities ⏰

We anticipate opportunities across a variety of shifts, including:

• Morning: 6:00am – 2:00pm
• Afternoon: 2:00pm – 10:00pm
• Sleepover shifts
• Active overnight: 10:00pm – 6:00am

We'd love to hear from you if you have 💼

• A minimum of 2 years' experience supporting people with disability
• Confidence providing personal care
• Availability across weekdays, weekends, sleepovers and active nights
• Excellent communication skills with verbal and non-verbal customers
• Strong computer skills for documentation and reporting
• A current NDIS Worker Screening Clearance (or willingness to obtain)
• Current First Aid Certificate (HLTAID003 or equivalent)
• Qualifications in Disability, Individual Support or Community Services (desirable)
• A current unrestricted NSW Driver Licence and Full Comprehensive Motor Vehicle Insurance
