KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Primarily responsible for the delivery of fieldwork to clients, under the supervision of more senior staff, including:
  • Ensures compliance with established internal control procedures by examining records, reports, operating practices, and documentation;
  • Assists with examining and analysing records to determine control effectiveness or compliance; and
  • Verifies transactions by comparing items to documentation
  • Helps identify internal control, compliance, operational or accounting issues;
  • Liaising with clients to execute fieldwork;
  • Completes audit work papers by documenting audit tests and findings;
  • Assists with preparation of reports for review by Partner/Manager;
  • Assists partners and managers in sales and marketing activities as required;
  • Contributes to meetings and is able to make effective contributions to meetings/presentations;
  • Applies knowledge of client/firm/industry trends and current issues; and
  • Assist with other tasks as directed to meet client service delivery objectives and/or firm strategies and initiatives.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

Essential

  • Relevant tertiary degree and/or qualification

Desirable

  • Relevant certification or professional membership

DEMONSTRATED EXPERIENCE & ATTRIBUTES:

Essential

  • 12+ months in a similar role
  • Strong Communication Skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team

Salary guide: $65,000-$75,000 exclusive of superannuation.
