What you will be doing in this role:
This is a newly created role and will involve leading the architecture, design, development, implementation, governance and management of data lifecycle to support our business goals.
As part of the Information Services team, and working with the Business Intelligence committee, the Enterprise Data Warehouse Coordinator will apply expertise in data architecture, governance, modelling, transformation, assist with security, integration, warehousing, BI and visualisation using modern technologies. You will help set standards, frameworks and reference systems and work with stakeholders to ensure solutions align with the Hospital’s objectives and Future Ready Program. To help support a positive work/life balance, hybrid and flexible working options will be available, up to 2 days from home, in line with our work from home policy.
Who we are looking for:
- You’ll be highly experienced in data warehouse management, development, and administration, with a minimum of 5 years of experience working in complex corporate environments.
- You’ll be highly proficient in SQL and ETL tools and processes, with formal SQL training.
- You’ll have extensive experience with data warehouse design and modelling techniques, such as star schema, snowflake schema, dimensional modelling, Online Analytical Processing (OLAP) etc.
- You’ll have demonstrated experience with data mining, machine learning, and statistical analysis techniques and tools.
- You’ll have vast experience with BI tools and platforms, such as Power BI, and SQL Reporting and Integration Services , etc.
- You’ll ideally have proven experience with on premise and cloud-based data warehouse solutions, such as AWS, Azure, etc.
- You’ll have full and unrestricted Australian Working Rights
