What you will be doing in this role
Reporting to our highly experienced Education Manager, you will be the subject matter expert on mandatory training and reporting requirements for all Adventist HealthCare workers in line with the National Safety and Quality Health Service Standards (NSQHS), legislation and healthcare policies.
This is a brand-new role which will see you collaborate with the Senior Leadership team, including Executives and Directors, to develop and deliver tailored educational content. This content will be specific to individual roles and departments across the hospital and will be aligned with compliance requirements.
You will be empowered and supported by your new manager to put your stamp on this newly created role. We want you to be strategic & creative, as you truly lead and drive this area of education.
Who we’re looking for:
- You’ll hold current registration as a Registered Healthcare professional with AHPRA (Essential)
- You’ll hold a master’s qualification in education, quality and safety, or a related field (Highly Desirable)
- You’ll have strong knowledge of mandatory healthcare training requirements and compliance in line with NSQHS Standards, Australian Healthcare Legislation and Policy
- You’ll be proficient in working with Learning Management Systems and compliance reporting requirements.
- You’ll have proven experience in a senior healthcare education or clinical education role, preferably within a hospital or higher education setting.
- You’ll have previous experience with development of education and training to support implementation of new clinical products, software, or technology within a healthcare environment.
