What you will be doing in this role

Reporting to Education Coordinator - Workforce Development, as the Clinical Education Facilitator, you will be responsible for the leadership and management of the Graduate Nurse program. You will also work with key stakeholders in the Nursing and Operations Directorate to facilitate multidisciplinary learning opportunities and promote a supportive transition to practice for newly qualified healthcare professionals.

This is a Full-Time role working within the passionate and supportive San Education team. You will come from a similar role or are a well-seasoned healthcare practitioner that has a passion for developing and mentoring newly graduated nurses and ready to take the next step in your career.

Who we’re looking for

  • You’ll have excellent working knowledge of mandatory training and compliance requirements for healthcare professionals in respect to NSQHS Standards and legislation.
  • You’ll have strong communication, teaching and mentoring skills with the ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.
  • You’ll be proficient in using technology for education delivery and record-keeping.
  • You’ll have previous involvement in planning and delivering clinical education and multidisciplinary professional development activities.
  • You’ll hold current AHPRA registration (Essential) and a Postgraduate qualification in education or willingness to complete within three years of appointment (Highly Desirable)
  • You’ll have full Australian working rights.
