About the role:

The New Graduate Registered Nurse (RN) role is a wonderful opportunity to begin your nursing career with the support and guidance you need as you transition from student to professional nurse. Our 12-month Graduate Nurse program is designed to help you grow and thrive in an acute care setting, where you’ll be given the chance to develop your skills in specialised areas while being mentored by experienced and supportive staff. It’s a place where you’ll feel empowered to learn, ask questions, and build your confidence every step of the way.

In this role, you’ll be responsible for providing exceptional, evidence-based care to patients, continuously developing your skills to meet their needs with compassion and expertise. You'll contribute to a culture of clinical excellence by embracing ongoing quality improvement, always striving to be the best you can be for your patients. Beyond just providing care, you’ll also become an integral part of a close-knit team, where collaboration and camaraderie are at the heart of everything we do. This is an exciting opportunity to not only grow as a nurse but to be a part of something truly special — a team that supports one another in achieving great things together.

To be successful:

  • You'll be eligible for registration as a Registered Nurse with the Nurses and Midwives Registration Board (AHPRA), including meeting English language requirements.
  • You'll hold Australian Citizenship or a visa allowing full-time employment in Australia, without regional restrictions.
  • You'll be able to commit to a minimum of 32 hours per week on a rotating roster.
  • You'll demonstrate strong interpersonal skills and proficiency in verbal and written communication.
  • You'll have up-to-date clinical knowledge and problem-solving skills.
  • You'll have graduated with a Bachelor of Nursing within 12 months of the program start date.
  • You'll be capable of collaborating effectively within a multidisciplinary team and understand professional, ethical, and legal standards in healthcare.

What to expect
