What you will be doing in this role
We’re looking for a professional, caring, and efficient Receptionist/Administrator to be the first point of contact for our patients, doctors, and staff. You’ll be the friendly face and calm presence at the front desk, managing phone calls, appointments, and patient enquiries with confidence and empathy.
In this vital front-line role, you’ll deliver high-quality reception and administrative support to patients, doctors, and staff, with warmth, accuracy, and compassion. Ensuring every interaction is professional, caring, and efficient. You'll play an important part in ensuring our operations run smoothly and contribute to a supportive and responsive team culture.
You’ll play a key role in supporting the smooth operation of the service by contributing to flexible staffing needs and actively participating in quality improvement initiatives.
Importantly, you’ll confidentiality, and upholding a safe and respectful environment for all. Your attention to detail, adaptability, and commitment to service excellence will be essential to your success in this role.
We're seeking someone who thrives in a dynamic environment, is flexible to meet staffing needs, and takes initiative in supporting continuous improvement across the service.
Who we’re looking for
- You’ll have previous experience in a similar role, or in a general practice / specialist room.
- You’ll have a strong commitment to customer service/patient satisfaction.
- You’ll have an elevated level of empathy and strong emotional intelligence.
- You’ll have effective written and oral communication skills.
- You’ll have strong attention to detail.
- You’ll have previous experience in Pracsoft & Medical Director (preferred).
