What you will be doing in this role

In this role, you’ll help maintain patient rooms and ward areas to a high standard, working across both clinical and non-clinical environments. Following established cleaning procedures, you’ll contribute to a safe, hygienic and comfortable space for patients, staff and the broader community.

You’ll work alongside a collaborative team, while also taking ownership of your responsibilities day-to-day. Just as importantly, you’ll bring a customer-first mindset - interacting with patients, visitors and colleagues in a professional, respectful and approachable way.

These are casual roles with 8-hour shifts between 7am - 6pm, Mon-Sun. You'll need to be available for 3-5 shifts per week consistently. 

 

Who we’re looking for

This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys helping others and thrives in a team-focused environment.

You’ll bring:

  • Cleaning experience (healthcare or hospital experience is highly regarded, but not essential)
  • Clear and professional communication skills, with the ability to engage respectfully with patients, customers and colleagues
  • Confidence working independently, balanced with a willingness to contribute to a team
  • You'll need to be consistently available for 3-5 8-hour shifts each week Mon – Sun.
  • Strong organisation skills and the ability to manage tasks efficiently
  • An understanding of WHS safety and hygiene standards
