What you will be doing in this role
As a Registered Nurse in the Roster Office at Sydney Adventist Hospital, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care across a range of wards and departments. This position involves covering staff leave and peak periods, ensuring that patient care standards remain consistent and exceptional. You'll have the opportunity to work in various settings, meaning no two days will be the same. Whether it's assisting in medical, surgical, or emergency departments, you'll be constantly engaged and challenged, gaining invaluable experience in different clinical environments.

This role requires an experienced and adaptable nurse who can quickly integrate into new teams and settings. You must be able to hit the ground running, demonstrating both clinical competence and flexibility. Your ability to manage varied tasks, think critically under pressure, and provide patient-centred care will be key to your success. With both casual and part-time roles available, this position offers flexibility while ensuring you have the variety and dynamism that makes each day rewarding.

Who we’re looking for

  • You must have full working rights in Australia to be considered for this role.
  • We are seeking a Registered Nurse with at least 2-3 years of experience working in an acute care hospital.
  • A strong foundation in clinical nursing practice is essential, with the ability to deliver high-quality patient care in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • The role requires flexibility, as you will be working across various wards and departments, adapting quickly to different clinical settings and patient needs.
  • You will need to demonstrate effective communication skills to work collaboratively with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
  • The ability to make sound, timely decisions and manage complex situations with confidence is key to success in this role.
