What you will be doing in this role
Step into the heart of innovation and excellence in cardiac care. As a permanent Registered Nurse in our Cardiac Catheterisation Lab, you’ll work with cutting-edge technology and play a vital role in delivering exceptional care to patients undergoing life-changing cardiac procedures. From angiography and stenting to pacemaker and ICD insertions, electrophysiology studies, and our advanced structural heart program (including TAVI, MitraClip, TriClip, LAA, ASD, and PFO closures), you’ll be part of a team that’s shaping the future of cardiac health.
You’ll provide compassionate, expert care before and after procedures ensuring every patient feels informed, supported, and comfortable throughout their journey. Working closely with the Nurse Unit Manager and a highly skilled multidisciplinary team, you’ll thrive in a collaborative environment that values professionalism, precision, and empathy.

Who we’re looking for
- Full Australian working rights, with a flexible approach to working a rotating roster.
- A minimum of one year post-graduate nursing experience, with a strong ability to work collaboratively in a small, supportive team.
- Experience in a Catheter Lab, Operating Theatres, Anaesthetics or Critical Care nursing, Medtech along with a solid understanding of computer and signal processing systems.
- Excellent communication skills, with a genuine ability to connect with patients and their families, providing clear and compassionate support.
- Current AHPRA registration and a commitment to ongoing learning, with a willingness to undertake post-graduate studies and further training.
- Highly desirable: Cardiothoracic or Coronary Care Certificate, or solid experience in Cardiac Nursing. Post-graduate studies in Cardiology and Acute Care are a bonus, with CEPIA certification being an added advantage.
