About the role
This position provides an exciting opportunity to train within a busy private Emergency Department with first-class facilities and a highly supportive multidisciplinary team. As an Advanced Trainee in Emergency Medicine (TS2-TS4), you will gain exposure to a diverse and rewarding caseload while developing advanced clinical, leadership and management skills within a structured and supportive training environment.
Trainees can undertake up to 12 months of ACEM-accredited Emergency Medicine training and may choose from the following second-year options:
- Continue within the Emergency Department (0.5-1.0 FTE)
- Complete 3 to 6-month rotations in ICU and/or Anaesthetics
You'll also have opportunities to contribute to:

- Morbidity & Mortality (M&M) presentations

Who we’re looking for
We're seeking passionate and motivated Emergency Medicine Trainees who are committed to delivering exceptional patient care and thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced clinical environment. This role would suit a trainee who is looking to further develop their clinical expertise, leadership capability and Emergency Medicine career within a supportive, education-focused department.
To be successful you will have:
- Current ACEM trainee who has successfully completed the Primary Examination (TS2, TS3 or TS4)
- Current AHPRA registration and full Australian working rights (visa sponsorship is not available)
- Demonstrated commitment to Emergency Medicine training and ongoing professional development
- Strong clinical judgement with the ability to manage acute and critically unwell patients in a supervised environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a compassionate, patient-centred approach
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team and contribute positively to team culture
- Strong organisational, prioritisation and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced Emergency Department
- Adaptable, resilient and motivated to thrive in a dynamic clinical environment
