What you will be doing in this role

Reporting to the Head of Category - Corporate, this is a full-time, permanent position where you will play a key role in delivering procurement and category management outcomes across a diverse corporate portfolio. Working closely with stakeholders across Facilities, ICT, Food Services, Finance and other corporate functions, you will translate category strategies into effective day-to-day procurement, inventory and supplier management activities.

You will manage purchasing activities, support sourcing and tender processes, oversee supplier performance, and ensure the reliable and cost-effective delivery of goods and services across a range of corporate categories. Using data and insights to inform decisions, you will identify opportunities to improve efficiency, strengthen supplier relationships and deliver value across the organisation.

You will also support continuous improvement initiatives, ensure compliance with procurement policies and processes, and contribute to the ongoing development of a high-performing procurement function.

 

Who we’re looking for

You are a procurement or supply chain professional with experience in purchasing, supplier management and category support. You enjoy building strong stakeholder relationships, solving problems and helping deliver efficient, cost-effective services in a complex organisation.

Organised and commercially minded, you can manage competing priorities, use data to support decision-making, and work collaboratively with internal stakeholders and suppliers to achieve positive outcomes.

To be successful, you will bring:

  • Experience in procurement, purchasing, supply chain or category management
  • Exposure to tenders, RFx processes and supplier relationship management
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Experience managing procurement data, inventory and performance reporting
  • Knowledge of procurement systems and ERP platforms
  • Experience working across corporate services or complex operational environments highly regarded
  • Tertiary qualifications in Supply Chain, Procurement, Business, Commerce or a related discipline
