What you will be doing in this role

Reporting to the Head of Category in our Procurement and Supply Chain team, this is a full-time permanent role where you will provide essential administrative, governance and transactional support across both the Clinical and Corporate procurement portfolios.

You will manage purchasing transactions, supplier onboarding, procurement records and contract documentation, helping to ensure goods and services are procured efficiently, compliantly and in line with organisational policies. Working closely with Heads of Category and Category Managers, you will support sourcing activities, tenders, supplier management and reporting while maintaining accurate governance records and registers.

This is an opportunity to contribute to the smooth operation of NSW's largest private hospital, supporting the procurement processes that help ensure clinicians and teams have access to the products and services they need to deliver outstanding patient care.

 

Who we’re looking for

You are an organised and detail-oriented professional with experience in procurement, contract administration or business support. You enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, maintaining accurate records and supporting stakeholders to achieve successful outcomes.

With strong administration and communication skills, you're confident working with systems, data and documentation while building positive relationships with internal teams and suppliers.

To be successful, you will bring:

  • Experience in procurement, supply chain, contract administration or a similar role
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Experience maintaining records, registers and compliance documentation
  • Knowledge of procurement processes and governance requirements
  • Experience using ERP or procurement systems such as Oracle, JDE or similar
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel, Word and Outlook
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Experience working in a regulated or compliance-focused environment highly regarded
  • Qualification in Business, Procurement, Supply Chain or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
