The Opportunity

The Research Assistant (RA) is expected to support the Fintech Impact Lab’s mission to bridge academia and industry. The RA will thus contribute to both the interdisciplinary research and the industry engagement activities of the Lab.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Specific duties of the RA include:

1. Support ongoing research projects of the Fintech Impact Lab: literature review, data collection, data analysis, write-up etc. 
2. Help organize events by the Lab (industry roundtable, expert panel session, hackathon etc.).
3. Transcribe meetings and interviews. 
4. Contribute research and writing to grant proposals.
5. Help create and maintain the Lab’s internet page and LinkedIn presence.

KEY SELECTION CRITERIA

1. Possess an undergraduate or postgraduate degree in business or technology. 
2. Demonstrate strong academic performance and a solid understanding of research methodologies. 
3. Proficiency in statistical analysis and relevant software tools is desirable. 
4. Exhibit strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively communicate research findings and collaborate with team members.
5. Demonstrate effective organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and deadlines efficiently.
