The Opportunity
The (FUTURE) Monash Malaysia Microbiome Research Centre is an interdisciplinary research hub dedicated to advancing microbiome science across human health, nutrition, environment, and precision medicine. The Centre integrates multi-omics data science, bioinformatics, and experimental microbiology to address regionally relevant and globally significant challenges. Through strong collaborations with clinical, industry, and international partners, the Centre aims to translate microbiome research into impactful scientific, clinical, and commercial outcomes.
The Monash Malaysia Microbiome Centre is seeking a highly motivated Postdoctoral Research Fellow with strong expertise in bioinformatics, data science, and computational workflows to support and advance the Centre’s microbiome research programmes. The successful candidate will play a key role in processing, managing, and analyzing large-scale multivariate and multi-omics datasets, as well as optimizing and maintaining existing analytical pipelines and workflows.
This position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to high-impact microbiome research while developing an independent research profile, mentoring students, and supporting the strategic growth of the Centre.
