The Opportunity
A Level B / C academic is expected to make significant contributions to the teaching effort of a discipline, school, faculty or other organisational unit or an interdisciplinary area. An academic at this level is also expected to play a major role in scholarship, research and/or professional activities.
The Lecturer / Senior Lecturer (Practice) in Emergency Medicine provides leadership in clinical teaching and supervision, delivering high-quality undergraduate medicine education. The role involves coordinating and contributing to curriculum development, assessment, and quality improvement initiatives, and promoting excellence in evidence-based emergency care. The Lecturer / Senior Lecturer (Practice) also maintains an active clinical role, supports clinical governance and patient safety activities, and contributes to scholarly and professional activities aligned with the discipline of Emergency Medicine.
Reporting line: The position reports to Head of Clinical School Johor Bahru
