The Opportunity
A Level D Practice academic is expected to demonstrate leadership and make substantial contributions to education, professional practice, engagement and service within the discipline, the School, the University, and the broader professional and business community. The Associate Professor will provide leadership in curriculum development and educational innovation, strengthen connections between academic learning and contemporary professional practice, mentor colleagues and students, and contribute to the strategic development and reputation of the Accounting discipline.
The Associate Professor will play a leading role in the development, delivery and continuous enhancement of undergraduate, postgraduate and executive education programs in Accounting. The successful candidate is expected to have an established record of excellence in teaching, curriculum innovation and educational leadership, together with substantial professional standing and experience relevant to contemporary accounting practice.
Reporting line: The position reports to the Head of Department of Accounting
