The Opportunity
Climateworks Centre Indonesia is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead collaborative climate projects across various sectors. You will work closely with businesses, governments, development partners, and INGOs to ensure the successful delivery of high-impact initiatives that support Indonesia’s climate goals and drive sustainable development.
In this role, you will manage the end-to-end delivery of projects, including planning, budgeting, and coordinating with stakeholders to ensure timely and efficient outcomes. You will support the Senior Project Manager in business development by identifying new project opportunities and assisting in proposal development. Additionally, you’ll conduct stakeholder research to inform project design, act as the key liaison for project progress, and develop clear, comprehensive reports and presentations. You will also collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to translate project outputs into actionable recommendations, and proactively address any risks to ensure successful project implementation.
The ideal candidate will have a degree qualification in a relevant field or extensive project management experience, ideally in climate change or sustainable development. You should possess a deep understanding of Indonesia’s climate policies and the needs of diverse stakeholders, including government, business, and multilateral organisations. Strong project management skills, with a proven ability to coordinate complex projects within time and budget constraints, are essential. Additionally, you must demonstrate excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills, alongside proficiency in project management software.
