The Opportunity
Reporting to the Senior Student Admission Coordinator the focus of this role will be to provides administrative support for projects and programs with a focus on excellence in process and judgment and provision of sound and timely advice and support to students, staff and other stakeholders. As the successful candidate, you will be responsible for delivering a range of admissions and administrative functions, including assessing applications, communicating outcomes, responding to queries, advising on policy and processes, managing project administration, and producing reports in line with agreed standards and timeframes. You will Provide high-quality customer service for prospective and current students, including guidance on application processes, visa referral where appropriate, and adherence to best-practice guidelines, policies, and procedures. Furthermore, you will support student recruitment and admissions functions, including participating in recruitment and admissions events, including those held on weekends or outside standard office hours when required
To be successful in this role, you will have strong knowledge and experience in the selection of students for admissions into Universities or Colleges. You will have excellent administration skills and a demonstrated capacity to deliver effective operational processes and systems, paired with demonstrated organisational skills, including the ability to set priorities, manage time and plan work to meet deadlines. Highly developed computer literacy, including experience using business software such as Microsoft Office is also critical for success in this role.
