You’re an experienced and passionate aged or health care leader and you bring a balance of strong business acumen, positive leadership and an understanding of the aged care sector. You are no stranger to leading a team remotely, and you have a real knack for building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders  

This leadership role is critical to the success of the region with a holistic focus on leading improvements and efficiencies, working strategically across the southern region. Reporting to our Deputy CEO, this role will see you acting as an effective support conduit between onsite Residential Services Managers and our Support Services team. Your role will be heavily focused on supporting your Residential Services Managers to deliver excellent care and services to our residents and their families, manage funding and budgetary requirements, support with reporting, investigations and quality improvements, along with implementing and monitoring clinical and non-clinical initiatives. 

Additionally, you will be responsible for supporting your services with change and project management, including system changes and implementation, refurbishments and workforce challenges, along with consistently demonstrating and role modelling a high performance, outcome-focused approach.  

THE ESSENTIALS 

  • A people-first approach 

  • Demonstrated leadership capability with a proven ability to lead change and improvement in the aged care environment. 

  • Bachelor of Nursing is essential, along with experience within the aged care sector. 

  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience in leading and driving successful change implementation across aged care. 

  • Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing strategic operational plans and strong track record of driving change and compliance. 

  • Proven track record in successfully driving, influencing internal and external stakeholders and achieving aged care accreditation standards. 

  • Demonstrated ability to deliver outstanding customer service and possesses a consistent customer-first approach. 

  • Exceptional team building skills, including the demonstrated capability to build strong relationships across internal and external stakeholders to prioritise workloads and manage high value projects. 

  • Knowledge and understanding of funding, health/aged care national policy and regulation that affects growth. 

  • Advanced knowledge of quantitative data and qualitative data, strong analytical, communication and critical thinking skills. 

  • Ability to commit to extensive travel between the Hunter, Riverina and Central West regions.
