At C&K, our purpose is to make a positive impact on children’s lives. It’s what we’ve been doing for more than 115 years. Through evidence-based thinking, hard work and true compassion, we’ve built a trusted reputation as Queensland’s leading provider of early childhood education.

Help shape the future of children in our care

As one of our highly valued Educators, you’ll support and guide children’s learning and development, so they become curious, capable and confident lifelong learners.

Welcome to C&K Yuingi Community Child Care Centre, where your child will feel safe, make friends and belong. Tucked away in the leafy suburb of Oxley is our hidden gem. We are proud of our spacious natural outdoor learning environment which has real trees, grass, dirt, leaves, and wildlife such as native birds and possums nesting in the trees. Our nature-based playground inspires challenging and open-ended play where children are provided with uninterrupted time to explore and engage in learning. We respect children as powerful learners, thinkers and theorisers and active citizens.

We have a wide range of cultural and linguistic background with our families and staff. This provides us the opportunity to incorporate these cultures and languages throughout the centre. Our approach to inclusion and diversity ensures that every child, family and staff member feels safe, welcomed and important.

Yuingi Childcare Centre is looking for passionate and dedicated Educators to join our team! In this role, you'll have the opportunity to work with children in a dynamic and nurturing environment, helping shape their early learning experiences. As part of our supportive team, you’ll enjoy the variety of a rotational roster, with shifts between 7am and 6pm, Monday to Friday. If you're enthusiastic about making a positive impact on young minds and thrive in a collaborative setting, this could be the perfect opportunity for you!

What you’ll bring

Whether you’re an experienced early childhood professional, newly graduated or just commencing your studies, if you’re energetic, fun and committed to guiding children’s early learning and development, we’ll set you up for success!

To thrive and succeed in this role, you will either have or be willing to work towards:

  • A minimum of a Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care or working towards this qualification.
  • First Aid, CPR and Asthma and Anaphylaxis certification.
  • Valid Blue Card or Exemption Card.
  • A Police Check current within three months (or willingness to obtain one).

You will bring a passion for achieving long-lasting, high-quality outcomes for children, their families and the community alongside a team-player mindset - when you join C&K, you join a village of good-hearted, talented people, so you can lean on them as they lean on you.

Join us and find a better way with C&K - for children, for you, for always.

C&K is a child-safe organisation and all C&K employees are required to undergo a police check and not be a ‘Restricted Person’ or Suspended Educator under the QLD Blue Card System.
