Make an impact as a Payroll Officer and Support the Team That Supports Children
We’re looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Payroll Officer to join our close-knit payroll team with an immediate start available. In this permanent full-time role, you’ll play an integral part in delivering accurate and timely payroll services to around 2,000 employees, spanning both award and salaried wages. In this fast-paced environment, your sharp eye for detail and excellent interpersonal skills will help you thrive as you provide friendly, efficient support to those who rely on your expertise.
In this role, you will:
- Collect, coordinate, and process payroll data with accuracy and efficiency.
- Support the end-to-end payroll process for a workforce of approximately 2,000 employees.
- Respond to payroll-related queries, providing prompt, clear, and friendly support.
- Manage multiple priorities while working both independently and collaboratively within a supportive team.
- Ensure compliance with relevant awards, legislation, and internal policies.

What you’ll bring
If you’re committed to guiding children’s early learning and development, we’ll set you up for success!
We strongly uphold our child safety policies and procedures. To thrive and succeed in this role, you will have:
- Valid Blue Card or Exemption Card.
- Current Police Check
- Experience with the interpretation and application of enterprise agreements, awards and other industrial instruments.
- Experience using payroll systems with experience using iChris or Chris21 highly desirable and using time and attendance systems.
