Our new Assistant Educator/s will either be working across both groups with both teachers or in our beginning of the week group or end of the week group, delivering a high-quality kindergarten program. 

As one of our highly valued Educators at C&K Elanora, you’ll work alongside your team to create a safe, supportive and engaging play-based learning environment for children, their families and our wider community.  

C&K Elanora is a single unit kindergarten service with two groups of children attending our program across the week. We are based on the Elanora State School site and have a positive connection with the school. We operate independently though and are managed by The C&K Association. We are a small team of educators consisting of two Co-Directors/ ECTs and a number of Inclusion Support Assistants. Our new Assistant Educator will be working across both groups with both teachers delivering a high-quality kindergarten program. 

We are looking for a new team player to complete our team of dedicated educators. The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate a broad understanding of and experience in high-quality early years practices. They will be committed to contribute to and further enhance our service quality practices and able to contribute to professional conversations and reflections. We seek someone who is well organised, shows initiative, will show pride in maintaining our inviting learning environment and demonstrates professional integrity.

. An important part of the requirements are excellent communication skills, with children, families and co-workers. Our service prides itself with our inclusive practices and we therefore seek an educator who has previous experience with and knowledge of ways to support children and their families with additional needs.

  • Permanent Fulltime or (2) Permanent Part time roles
  • Mon, Tues alternate Wed 8 – 3.30pm

        Thurs, Fri 7.30am – 4pm

We strongly uphold our child safety policies and procedures. To thrive and succeed in this role, you will have: 

  • An ACECQA approved Bachelor's Degree of Early Childhood Education or equivalent  
  • Approved Child Protection Training or the willingness to obtain. 
  • First Aid, CPR and Asthma and Anaphylaxis certification. 
  • Valid Blue Card or Exemption Card. 
  • Current Police Check 
  • Knowledge of the National Quality Framework and Standards and the Early Years Learning Framework and Queensland Kindergarten Learning Guide.
