This position is a Fixed Term Contract, Fulltime until 19 December 2025 and will see you supporting non-aligned (non-Central Governing Body (CGB) early childhood centres participating across Qld in the Kindy Uplift pilot program. The position is based in Brisbane and will require a commitment for regular travel, including overnight travel across a given week.
The Kindy Uplift Advisors role with C&K is to:
- Program management: Support centres to develop, evidence, review and approve Kindy uplift plans. You are expected to work as part of a wider Kindy uplift pilot team and engage in regular advisor meetings and events with other advisors and the department such as information sessions and workshops with the Department of Education.
- Collaboration: Work cross-functionally within a network of key stakeholders including:
- C&K and Lady Gowrie Queensland
- Cohort of eligible services/Approved Providers
- Department of Education
- Other Kindy Uplift Advisors.
- Content Expertise: Strong understanding of Early Years Learning Framework and Queensland Kindergarten Learning Guidelines and passion for strengthening Aboriginal and Torres Strait islander perspectives throughout early years services.

What you’ll bring
- Hold an ACECQA approved Bachelor’s in Education (Early Childhood) or similar qualification.
- An excellent practical understanding of the National Quality Framework, and legislative and regulatory requirements relevant to early childhood education and care, and tools and strategies for assessing outcomes.
- A commitment to advancing the Early Years Learning Framework and the Queensland Kindergarten Learning Guidelines.
