Here are some of your responsibilities as a Facilities Team Leader:

The Facilities Team Leader is responsible for driving efficiencies in the management of assets, maintenance activities, and related services.

  • Developing and implementing systems and process to ensure the efficient delivery of C&K’s capital expenditure, maintenance plan program and asset management plan, maximising portfolio value and identifying opportunities to contribute to environmental initiatives.
  • Coordinating work schedules, assigning tasks, and monitoring and report on the program of work, including scheduling, delivery and expenditure.
  • Working with the Procurement and Legal teams to source, evaluate, and select qualified contractors for various facility-related services.
  • Supporting the management of premises compliance for a portfolio of sites across Queensland, in line with statutory requirements and C&K premises management standards.
  • Ensuring all premises are operated and maintained per the requirements of lease clauses, develop and maintain relationships with landlords and property managers.

What you’ll bring

  • Managerial experience and demonstrated leadership skills, including the ability to ensure compliance with legislation, standards, directives, policies and procedures.
  • Have availability outside of normal operating hours.
  • Hold and maintain a current driver’s license.
  • Current paid Blue Card or the willingness to obtain
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and manage a team.
