South Carolina State University is seeking an exceptional individual to join its esteemed faculty as an Assistant Professor of Mathematics within the College of Science, Mathematics, and Engineering Technology. Responsibilities:
- Teach undergraduate and graduate-level mathematics courses, including calculus, linear algebra, differential equations, and other advanced topics.
- Develop and implement innovative teaching methodologies to enhance student learning and engagement.
- Conduct research in your area of expertise and publish findings in peer-reviewed journals.
- Actively participate in departmental and university service activities, such as committee work and student advising.
- Contribute to the development and growth of the mathematics program.
- Collaborate with colleagues on interdisciplinary projects and initiatives.

Qualifications:
- Ph.D. in Mathematics or a closely related field from an accredited institution.
- Demonstrated excellence in teaching at the collegiate level.
- Strong commitment to research and scholarly activities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Passion for mentoring and supporting students from various backgrounds.
