This position is a full-time faculty, continuing position, set to begin in Spring 2025. The new hire and assigned rank will depend on the candidate’s qualifications and teaching experience. The new Radiologic Technology faculty member will be expected to teach, mentor students, fulfill administrative duties within the Radiologic Technology program, and serve on departmental and campus committees. They will assist the Radiologic Technology Chair to assure effective program operations, and maintain current knowledge of program/clinical policies, procedures, and student progress. The successful candidate will demonstrate the use of varied teaching techniques that help students develop critical thinking skills and understand the relevance of radiography to the community. The successful candidate will also demonstrate the use of technology in the classroom to improve student learning outcomes and a commitment to classroom assessment. |

This position resides in the brand-new Advanced Manufacturing Center on the campus, a 100,000 square foot building dedicated to innovation and state-of-the-art teaching and technology. The position will serve as both the precision machining technology faculty member and the department chair. Other programs in the department include geospatial technology/remote aircraft pilot, biomedical electronics technology, computer aided design, electrical/electronic technology, HVAC technician, skilled trades, and welding. The department chair will work alongside the faculty, the dean, and the district director to ensure classes, schedules, and programs meet the needs of students and fulfill workforce needs.
