Faculty - MRI Department Wildwood Campus
***This is an onsite position located in the St. Louis, Missouri area. Candidates should apply only if they are able to be physically present and available to work onsite by the start date.*** The Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) Program at STLCC is seeking a full-time faculty member to serve on the Wildwood campus. This position is a full-time faculty, continuing position, set to begin in Fall 2025. The new hire will be made at the level of Instructor II or Assistant Professor, depending on the candidate’s qualifications and teaching experience. Preference will be given to candidates with teaching experience in the profession of MRI and those possessing a graduate degree. The new MRI Program faculty member will be expected to teach and mentor students, coordinate and assess clinical education experiences, fulfill administrative duties within the MRI Program, obtain and maintain programmatic accreditation, and serve on departmental and campus committees. They will assist the MRI Program Coordinator to assure effective program operations, and maintain current knowledge of program/clinical policies, procedures, and student progress. The successful candidate will demonstrate the use of varied teaching techniques that help students develop critical thinking skills and understand the relevance of MRI to the healthcare community. The successful candidate will also demonstrate the use of technology in the classroom to improve student learning outcomes and a commitment to classroom assessment.
