About the role:

We are seeking an experienced Lift Service Technician to join our Service Team, based on the Gold Coast, reporting to the Service Manager, you will be responsible for minimising breakdowns and ensuring that all lifts and escalators perform to customer expectations.

This role covers both our lift products, we are looking for an individual who preferably has demonstrated experience in dealing with the maintenance and service.

Key Accountabilities:

• Carrying out regular maintenance
• Carrying out repair work to restore lift to full service
• Answer all calls promptly and provide an accurate ETA, in accordance with response terms
• In accordance with established procedures shut down a lift which is regarded as unsafe and unable to be made to function properly
• Propose material alterations where it is felt the performance of the escalator can be improved by doing so
• Ensure your work sites are kept tidy and that all paperwork is up to date
• Depending on work requirements there is some flexibility required to be available to work overtime or on weekends.

Requirements for the role:

• Electrical Trade qualification
• A current electrical license
• A current driver's license
• Excellent interpersonal, communication skills and customer service etiquette
• Excellent organisation skills, with the ability to work under pressure
• An uncompromising commitment to quality workmanship and safety policies and procedures
