About the opportunity:

We are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable officer to join our team based in our head office at Mascot Reporting to the Accounts Payable Manager this role is responsible for processing invoices, updating creditor recordspaying outstanding invoices, producing creditor reports and reconciling accounts. Other key responsibilities include processing credit card and employee expenses, month-end activities and General ledger reconciliations.

  • $75,000 Base + Super + 5% Bonus (negotiable on base depending upon experience)

Requirements for the role:

  • Previous experience in an accounts payable role or general accounting
  • Exposure to using ERP systems & spreadsheets - SAP highly regarded
  • Intermediate Excel (knowledge of pivot tables, vlookups etc.)
  • High attention to detail and accuracy with numbers essential
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a focus on providing exceptional customer service
  • Strong time management and organisation skills
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a successful team
